On, Wednesday, September 27 around 9am, Tonya was thinking about being sentimental. She said:

Last night, I was sent to bed early because I needed the rest. When I was banished, James and Finn were sitting in front of the television, having just finished a very mediocre dinner and waiting for Kate to get off the phone with her sister so she could have dinner as well. Cosi was in her swing, talking away and John was on the floor tinkering with a neighbor’s laptop. I said good night and headed up the stairs. As I’m walking, I look down the stairs and am enamored with the view. I take a quick shower and then run downstairs to find my phone. I hear John washing dishes and I go into the kitchen to say goodnight one more time. Instead, I find Kate. She’s washing my dishes and when I ask her why (even though I tell her I don’t really need a reason), she tells me that there are many reasons, but her final response is that she “just wants to”.
We talk for a bit and I say goodnight. I head upstairs, finally to bed. As i lay in bed, I tear up a bit thinking of how much I love these people. I absolutely adore how completely comfortable the Rohls are in our house. I feel the same way in theirs (although John and I have talked about how we need to go there more often instead of always inviting them over to our house).
There are just some people with whom you automatically become fast friends. Sure, we met becuase of similar circumstances (they miscarried at nearly the same time as we did). But the love that I feel for this family is absolutely not circumstantial. It is a deep love. A love that hopes that we will be friends for a long, long time.

On, Monday, September 25 around 8am, Tonya was thinking about emma overman. She said:

I think I have fallen in love. John and I noticed this artist’s stuff in the hallway at church on Sunday. Beautiful, no?

Too bad they are so darn expensive.

Someone coughed quietly. jamie said "that is really cute- how much is it?"

amy said "Emma’s stuff is so great! Maybe when I write my first children’s book she can illustrate it."

On, Friday, September 22 around 3pm, Tonya was thinking about babies, babies, babies!. She said:

I remember wondering a long time ago (two years, to be exact) when my new friend was pregnant and a few others were pregnant around her and I wondered if, when I became pregnant, if I would be lucky enough to have other pregnant people in whom I could confide.
And as I can see now, there was no need to worry. Four of us pregnant at the same time, fairly close friends going through their pregnancies at nearly the same exact time promised endless playdates and fun family dinners.
But we four were not the only ones. A friend, no two, no three became pregnant. Honestly, I think I’ve lost count. I honestly can’t count on both hands the amount of new babies that are around me.
And it really is exciting.
Cosi got to meet her first baby girl the other day. It was quite an event since she’s only made friends thus far with boys (We do still love you Asher, Atlas and Finn!). I envision tea parties and sleep overs, oh my!

heater agreed "it’s so fun to have friends going through the same thing as you at the same time as you! when i was pregnant with molly, my friend bonnie was pregnant with kole. and then bonnie ended up being molly’s babysitter when i went back to work. so molly and kole became fast friends, and still are, even though they are both in kindergarten at different schools. now that i’m pregnant again, with josie, my friend dawn is pregnant with me. and she’s due 4 days before me! so i know that josie and wilson will become fast friends too. and it’s nice to be around someone in the same stage of pregnancy that i’m in. even though i have been through this before, it is so fun to go through it again with someone else. :)"

The crowd gasped! white tiger adult costume "white tiger adult costume Thank you, I could not have sead it better my self."

On, Monday, September 18 around 12pm, Tonya was thinking about the trip home. She said:

Cosi and I went home to Kentucky this weekend to visit the grandmothers. John stayed home to work (something he did not accomplish). Cosi was great the first leg of the trip to my mom’s. She talked and laughed and stared out the window at the trees. She woke up as soon as we hit Louisville and was inconsolable. It didn’t help any that there was a road closed and a detour took me down a windy country road that I didn’t know while fog played on the headlights.
I really do like being home, though. My 12 year old niece is absolutely amazing with Cosi. I said at one point that I wanted her to let me know once she got tired of watching the baby. “Don’t worry, I won’t” was her only reply. Next summer, I’m going to talk her mom into letting her loose for about two weeks so she can come down her and hang with Cosi. I hope that it’s a start of a yearly tradition. I envision summer trips where my niece tags along to be the nanny so John and I can have some fun on our vacations. I would have loved to do that when I was a teenager.
The trip back to Indiana was much better. Cosi slept for about two hours and then I pulled over as soon as she awoke. We took about a fifteen minute break from the car seat and she was an angel the rest of the way home (well, most of the way home, minus the last 10 minutes or so on the interstate).
Maybe breaks are the key?

Someone coughed quietly. JR remarked "Who doesn’t love breaks. At work when I sleep for a couple of hours I like to take a quick break before getting back to work as well."

On, Thursday, September 14 around 10am, Tonya was thinking about nightmares. She said:

Cosi woke up last night an exorbitant amount of times. Especially when you consider how well she’s been sleeping in the nights before the last. At one of the wakings, she cried out loud. It wasn’t a whimper or call to feed. It was a cry to let me know that something was terribly wrong. We’re wondering if she has started having nightmares.
It’s such a weird thought, thinking that this tiny little human could be having dreams of things that scare her.

On, Thursday, September 7 around 2pm, Tonya was thinking about wishing the second most wonderful boy a happy birthday. She said:
